Legs and Brazilians – All I need from you is a minimum of 3 weeks growth, and regardless of what you have been told before, with brazilian waxing, no trimming please! If it needs trimming I can trim it, this way I can keep it greater than the length I need for the cleanest results, which = smooth. Under arms we can get away with 2 weeks growth, no less than this though please.

After care– It is best to avoid public pools or spa pools the day of or after waxing, also avoid the sun, and no epic sweaty work outs. The follicles stay slightly open for 12-48 hours after waxing and the chances of any thing happening is incredibly slim, but it’s always there. I will explain about “ingrowns” and what you can do to help prevent them after your appointment. I like to explain it all in more detail when I see you.

Hello hello 🙂 Firstly, please try and stop stressing and fretting, more often than not it’s the unknown and the mind getting creative on us, and I promise you it isn’t that bad, it is nothing more than a waste of worry. Every client who has had their first brazilian with me (every single one), the last thing they say before they walk out the door is “that really wasn’t that bad” or “that wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be” it’s always some thing along those lines. The two reasons people are normally nervous about a brazilian are;

1. Shy…If this is you, I completely understand, and I have actually been there! It can be a bit daunting getting your privates out in front of a complete stranger, I am more than happy for you to wear disposable under wear (I have a stash for this exact reason). I don’t want you being uncomfortable any more than you do! There is no way to really explain it, but I promise I will have you comfortable, at ease, and chatting away like it is the most normal thing in the world within minutes. As strange as it seems to you, this is second nature to me, and you will be in the best hands possible for your first wax 🙂

2. Pain… If this is the reason you are nervous and you are concerned about pain in any way, take a couple of panadol half an hour before your wax and also avoid the week before you period, what can I say, we are females and we are sensitive wee souls, especially at this time of the month, waxing included. A bit about the wax and waxing; The wax I use is ‘hot wax’ it’s the gentlest of waxes and suitable for the most sensitive of areas, it doesn’t stick to the skin at all, gripping only on the hair, so once removed there will be ZERO trauma to the skin. You will be incredibly surprised at how easy it can actually be. Over the years I’ve been given many nick names, ‘Master of the Vajayjay” is the one that puts all of the above in a nut shell.
